But he, willing to justify himself his actions his words , said unto Jesus, And who is my brother fellow neighbour ? And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from the temple the city Jerusalem to Jericho a town a village , and fell among robbers bandits thieves , which stripped him of his garments raiment clothes , and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead alive broken . And by chance there came down a certain priest religious leader holy man that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a temple assistant Levite minister , when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain stranger Samaritan traveler , as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion pity mercy on him, And went to him, and bound up his injuries bruises wounds , pouring in balm oil ointment and wine, and set him on his own animal beast donkey , and brought him to an lodging shelter inn , and took care of him. And on the next day morrow following morning when he departed, he took out two pence pieces of silver coins , and gave them to the host caretaker innkeeper , and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay reimburse settle thee. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed displayed gave mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou as he did likewise the same .
