Hear another parable: There was a certain landownerhouseholderproprietor, which plantedcultivatedestablished a orchardgardenvineyard, and enclosedfencedhedged it round about, and excavatedholloweddigged a basinvatwinepress in it, and constructedbuilterected a towerwatchtowerstructure, and letrentedleased it out to farmerstenantshusbandmen, and went into a far country: And when the seasontimeperiod of the produceharvestfruit drew near, he sent his employeesworkersservants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beatthrashedstruck one, and slewmurderedkilled another, and peltedassaultedstoned another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his offspringsonheir, saying, They will respecthonorreverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the inheritorsuccessorheir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his legacyinheritancebirthright. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the ownermasterlord therefore of the vineyard comethreturnsarrives, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserablyruthlesslywretchedly destroy those maliciouswickedevil men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall providegiverender him the fruits in their periodstimesseasons. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never studyexamineread in the scriptures, The rockcornerstonestone which the buildersconstructorsarchitects rejected, the same is become the chiefpinnaclehead of the corner: this is the Lord's deedworkdoing, and it is astonishingmarvellouswondrous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdomdomainrealm of God shall be removedwithdrawntaken from you, and given to a peoplecommunitynation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall stumblefalltrip on this stone shall be shatteredbrokenfractured: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will crushpulverizegrind him to powder. And when the chief priestsclergyreligious leaders and eldersauthoritiesPharisees had heard his parables, they understoodrealizedperceived that he spake of them.
