Hear another parable: There was a certain householderproprietorlandowner, which plantedcultivatedestablished a gardenorchardvineyard, and hedgedenclosedfenced it round about, and excavateddiggedhollowed a winepressbasinvat in it, and erectedbuiltconstructed a towerwatchtowerstructure, and leasedrentedlet it out to husbandmenfarmerstenants, and went into a far country: And when the periodseasontime of the producefruitharvest drew near, he sent his employeesservantsworkers to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and struckthrashedbeat one, and killedslewmurdered another, and assaultedstonedpelted another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his offspringsonheir, saying, They will honorreverencerespect my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heirinheritorsuccessor; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritancelegacybirthright. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the ownermasterlord therefore of the vineyard arrivesreturnscometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will ruthlesslywretchedlymiserably destroy those maliciouswickedevil men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall giveproviderender him the fruits in their periodstimesseasons. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never readstudyexamine in the scriptures, The cornerstonestonerock which the buildersconstructorsarchitects rejected, the same is become the chiefheadpinnacle of the corner: this is the Lord's workdeeddoing, and it is marvellousastonishingwondrous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The domainrealmkingdom of God shall be withdrawnremovedtaken from you, and given to a nationcommunitypeople bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall stumbletripfall on this stone shall be fracturedbrokenshattered: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grindcrushpulverize him to powder. And when the chief priestsreligious leadersclergy and eldersPhariseesauthorities had heard his parables, they realizedperceivedunderstood that he spake of them.
