Hear another parable: There was a certain householderproprietorlandowner, which plantedcultivatedestablished a gardenvineyardorchard, and fencedhedgedenclosed it round about, and diggedexcavatedhollowed a basinvatwinepress in it, and builtconstructederected a towerwatchtowerstructure, and letleasedrented it out to farmershusbandmentenants, and went into a far country: And when the periodtimeseason of the producefruitharvest drew near, he sent his workersemployeesservants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and struckthrashedbeat one, and murderedkilledslew another, and stonedassaultedpelted another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his sonoffspringheir, saying, They will reverencehonorrespect my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heirinheritorsuccessor; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his birthrightlegacyinheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the masterownerlord therefore of the vineyard returnscometharrives, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserablyruthlesslywretchedly destroy those wickedmaliciousevil men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall giverenderprovide him the fruits in their timesperiodsseasons. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never studyexamineread in the scriptures, The rockcornerstonestone which the buildersarchitectsconstructors rejected, the same is become the headchiefpinnacle of the corner: this is the Lord's workdeeddoing, and it is astonishingwondrousmarvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdomrealmdomain of God shall be takenwithdrawnremoved from you, and given to a nationpeoplecommunity bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall stumblefalltrip on this stone shall be fracturedshatteredbroken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will crushpulverizegrind him to powder. And when the chief religious leadersclergypriests and authoritieseldersPharisees had heard his parables, they perceivedrealizedunderstood that he spake of them.
