Hear another parable: There was a certain householderproprietorlandowner, which establishedplantedcultivated a orchardvineyardgarden, and enclosedfencedhedged it round about, and excavatedholloweddigged a winepressvatbasin in it, and builtconstructederected a structurewatchtowertower, and letrentedleased it out to husbandmentenantsfarmers, and went into a far country: And when the periodtimeseason of the fruitharvestproduce drew near, he sent his employeesworkersservants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and struckthrashedbeat one, and murderedkilledslew another, and assaultedstonedpelted another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his heiroffspringson, saying, They will respecthonorreverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heirsuccessorinheritor; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his birthrightinheritancelegacy. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the lordownermaster therefore of the vineyard arrivescomethreturns, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will ruthlesslywretchedlymiserably destroy those maliciouswickedevil men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall renderprovidegive him the fruits in their seasonstimesperiods. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never studyreadexamine in the scriptures, The rockstonecornerstone which the architectsbuildersconstructors rejected, the same is become the headchiefpinnacle of the corner: this is the Lord's workdoingdeed, and it is wondrousastonishingmarvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdomdomainrealm of God shall be removedtakenwithdrawn from you, and given to a communitynationpeople bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fallstumbletrip on this stone shall be shatteredbrokenfractured: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grindpulverizecrush him to powder. And when the chief priestsclergyreligious leaders and authoritiesPhariseeselders had heard his parables, they perceivedunderstoodrealized that he spake of them.
