24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Jude 1:24-25 KJV)
Glory to God
The apostle closes with a powerful doxology (Jude 1:24-25): “To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy.” God is not only able but willing to preserve us and bring us safely home. Though we have sinned, through Christ we can be declared faultless—our sins not counted against us. The glory of God will soon be revealed—what we now believe by faith, we will one day see with our eyes (Revelation 1:7; 1 Peter 1:8).
Christ will present his people to the Father, and none whom the Father has given him will be lost (John 6:39; John 17:12). When that moment comes, we will be filled with overwhelming joy. The faults that now cause us grief will be gone. Where there is no sin, there is no sorrow. Where there is perfect holiness, there will be perfect joy.
“To the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.”
