Hear another parable: There was a certain landownerhouseholderproprietor, which establishedcultivatedplanted a vineyardgardenorchard, and hedgedenclosedfenced it round about, and excavateddiggedhollowed a winepressbasinvat in it, and constructederectedbuilt a towerwatchtowerstructure, and letrentedleased it out to husbandmentenantsfarmers, and went into a far country: And when the periodtimeseason of the producefruitharvest drew near, he sent his employeesservantsworkers to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and struckthrashedbeat one, and murderedslewkilled another, and peltedassaultedstoned another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his offspringsonheir, saying, They will honorrespectreverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the inheritorheirsuccessor; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his legacyinheritancebirthright. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the lordownermaster therefore of the vineyard arrivesreturnscometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will ruthlesslymiserablywretchedly destroy those maliciouswickedevil men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall providegiverender him the fruits in their periodsseasonstimes. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never studyexamineread in the scriptures, The stonerockcornerstone which the architectsbuildersconstructors rejected, the same is become the headchiefpinnacle of the corner: this is the Lord's workdeeddoing, and it is marvellouswondrousastonishing in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdomrealmdomain of God shall be takenremovedwithdrawn from you, and given to a peoplenationcommunity bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall tripstumblefall on this stone shall be fracturedbrokenshattered: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will pulverizecrushgrind him to powder. And when the chief priestsreligious leadersclergy and authoritiesPhariseeselders had heard his parables, they understoodperceivedrealized that he spake of them.
