19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (James 5:19-20 KJV)
Bring Back the Erring One
Lastly, the epistle concludes with a call to recover those who stray (James 5:19–20): “If anyone brings back a sinner from wandering, he will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” This applies not only to ministers but to any believer: lovingly correcting errors—whether doctrinal or behavioral—can rescue a soul and erase many sins when the straying person repents. The spiritual harvest is immense and eternally significant.
